rebel deluxe

I got a digital camera in 2003. Before that I didn't do much photographing of much of anything.
I had a Canon Rebel XTI from summer 2006 tosummer 2008.
Those first three years I worked with a little camera, first the Si-Pix Groove, then in 2005 a PowerShot 550, then the much nicer Canon, now back again to the PowerShot.
Lots of photos were made, scattered through maybe 7 different hard drives, some on computers that no longer compute, some on computers that take too much electricity for where I am now. I inherited a discombamerated Dell Inspiron and am working on it, which has given me access to some but not all of what I did in those years.
This is here because of a debt, an indebtedness, for material support, spiritual strength and example, and for the usual reasons that people get in front of other people and say "Watch this!"
Three people, foremost among many others, especially drove me to the labor of gathering these up from where I could find them (not tidily arranged in backup files and DVD's I can assure you), then sitting here at a public computer in a busy library at a major university, digging through Blogger's template apps and uploading images. Which is overall far more ergonomically satisfying than prior versions. Thanks Google and Blogger.
And Tom Matrullo, Phil Cubeta, and Neil Young:

This shot's for you.

Later, if I can, I'll get back in and caption things, where it seems important, and add some details and explication.
Only two of these pictures were processed, most of them aren't even cropped, just reduced to fit the box.
